Digital access is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. Sabah Net Sdn. Bhd. and Theta Telecoms Sdn. Bhd. have taken a bold step forward by signing a strategic collaboration to bridge the digital divide and enhance connectivity across Sabah, ensuring everyone is connected.
The signing ceremony at SICC was graced by Yang Berhormat Datuk Dr. Hj Mohd Arifin Bin Datuk Hj Mohd Arif, Minister of Science, Technology & Innovation Sabah (KSTI), who also served as a standing witness alongside Yang Berbahagia Datuk Mohd Hanafiah Bin Mohd Kassim, Permanent Secretary of KSTI.
We are also grateful for the presence of our Board of Directors, Yang Berbahagia Datuk Jasmine Teo and Yang Berusaha Puan Ernywati Dewi Binti Abas, who joined us in celebrating this important moment, marking a shared commitment to a more connected and digitally empowered Sabah. Additionally, we extend our appreciation to the industry leaders who were also present, lending their insights and support in shaping Sabah’s digital future.
This collaboration aligns with JENDELA Phase 2, MyDIGITAL Blueprint, and the SMJ Development Plan, ensuring inclusive, high-quality digital access for all Sabahans. Beyond connectivity, it aims to empower SMEs, support online learning, and expand telemedicine services, strengthening Sabah’s digital and economic landscape.
