The Sabah Net Cyber Challenge 2025 is designed to empower the next generation of cyber security defenders through hands-on simulation, immersive learning, and high-stakes competition.

This year’s challenge centers around the Fortinet Security Fabric Range, bringing together professionals and aspiring defenders to test their skills in real-time attack scenarios, simulate responses to ransomware, malware, and zero-day threats, and explore the latest defensive strategies using Fortinet’s integrated cyber security platform.

Please bring your own laptop that meets the following minimum specifications:

• Processor: Intel Core i3 / i5 (or equivalent)

• WiFi: 2.4GHz / 5GHz support
• Browser: Latest version of Chrome / Firefox
• OS: Windows 10 or macOS Monterey and above

The Sabah Net Cyber Challenge (SCC2025) was a resounding success and a key highlight of the BIMP-EAGA Cyber Security Summit (BECS2025)!

This year, SCC2025 showcased the incredible talent and dedication of Sabah's next generation of cyber defenders. We were especially proud to see strong, diverse participation from young professionals, students, and practitioners across the public and private sectors. A key highlight was the growing presence and remarkable skill of women in cybersecurity, demonstrating that the future of cyber defense is truly inclusive and bright.
